High Fidelity
Group show at the M4 Gastatelier, Amsterdam, NL in April 2022 together with Tycho Hupperets, Béla Teiwes and Bobby Veldhuizen.
During the week-long residency at the M4, we let the history, architecture and location of this old typesetting factory influence the final realization of the works-in-progress we had brought with us. Starting every conversation around a pot of tea, allowing ourselves to play with endless combinations of shiny poker chips, drawing with giant chalk, throwing black paint on the walls in affection, and listening to fables accomanied by a sleeping dog, High Fidelity became a show about both the joy and the violence in reproduction and repetition, about surface in every sense, and - wrestling.
